App License

Pasture is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms add to the Standard EULA; where they conflict, the Standard EULA applies to the app license.

Pasture Premium Subscriptions

Pasture is a free download. The First Steps path and the Bible reader are free. Pasture Premium unlocks the Premium paths (Peace & Prayer: 14 Days and Meet Jesus: Mark in 30 Days, whose first 3 lessons are free) and streak freezes.

• Plans and prices: Pasture Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly ($4.99 a month in the US) or yearly ($29.99 a year in the US). Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you subscribe.
• Free trial: Each plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the plan price.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
• Automatic renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > your name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions. See Apple's guide to cancelling a subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore Purchases: If you subscribed on another device with the same Apple ID, tap Restore Purchases in the app's Settings or on the Premium screen.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple; the developer cannot issue them directly.

Scripture in Pasture is from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain, unchanged from eBible.org. “World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org, used to identify this faithful copy.

The lessons, explanations, prayer prompts, and quizzes are study aids written to help you read the Bible. They are not the doctrine of any church or denomination and are not professional, pastoral, or theological advice.

Not a Substitute for Medical or Mental-Health Care

Some lessons, especially on the Peace & Prayer path, talk about worry, anxiety, and low mood. Pasture is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. If anxiety or low mood is heavy or does not lift, please talk with a doctor or counselor. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services right away.

Ownership

The World English Bible text is in the public domain. The app's software, design, lessons, and other original text are owned by Quan Dang.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pasture only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms and the Standard EULA. You agree not to interfere with the app's operation or reverse engineer it except as permitted by applicable law.

Availability & Changes to the App

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, update, or discontinue features or content of the app at any time.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quan Dang provides Pasture without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In no event shall Quan Dang be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Pasture after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
